In regards to smell, we rarely have a problem with this, but occasionally the humidity is trapped in the bag during storage and shipping which can cause the smell. We recommend airing out your bag when you receive it to alleviate this occasional problem as well as to loft the down that has been compressed in transit.  You may also try drying it on very low heat for 5 to ten minutes, letting it air out, and then doing it again the next day. Lastly, you can rid the smell by letting the bag air dry for several days hung up outside in dry conditions.

If you continue to have problems with the smell, please let us know so that we can make sure to get you taken care of!
